Great news for Shrek fans! From September the 16th Shrek the Third will be available for purchase on Blu-ray. The real mystery remains as to why the first two, Shrek and Shrek 2, aren’t available on Blu-ray?

Shrek the Third stars the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and Antonio Banderas and is described as follows on Amazon.com:

P.S. The reason that none of the Shrek movies featured in our Best Selling Animated Movies on Blu-ray article is because, well, no Shrek movies are yet available on Blu-ray.
