Samsung is taking the initiative and has invested in some great Blu-ray products such as the Samsung BD-UP5000 1080p HD-DVD Blu-Ray Disc Combo Player which plays Blu-ray, DVD and HD-DVD formats. Samsung has also had early success with the entry level BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.
